SETTING GOALS

With the assignment for BLOGGING 201: SET THREE GOALS the class is to brainstorm and actually write down three things we plan to carry through.  My own plans are gradually developing as I choose various topics and the categories I plan to use for those.

My main goal right now is actually learning to set up a blog so that it has a future. Randomness is not my style, so this site needs to be arranged in such a way that it can be useful to me for a very long time.  Little by little that seems to be happening.

Dear GramMER, I made apple butter…

Dear GramMER,

I’m on the way out the door, so I can’t write long, but, wanted to share a couple pictures. Between math quizzes and homework I canned our first batch of apples from the trees this year. Some of them were pretty tiny and had lots of worm holes, but they still tasted good (after they had their worms picked out of course…)  I cooked them with skins, cores and all because that is where the sugar is.  I know all that makes apple butter taste better!  I added not quite enough water to cover, so I had to watch them pretty closely.

JUSTICE, JUDGMENT and EQUITY

“The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools’ (Proverbs 26:7, KJV).

Did you know October 16 was Blog Action Day? Bloggers from around the world have written posts about what inequality means to them.  We all have encountered inequity in daily life and now is the time to brainstorm about how to change the injustices.  The change must come from within ourselves.

Inequality is Everywhere, so what affects me the most?  All around are the handicapped and the athletic, the movers and the sedentary, varying races, the rich and the poor.
