Studying steadily through the books of Law, we’ve been covering some of the physical laws God gave to the Israelites such as how to farm and how to dress. Though these were outward ordinances and no longer govern us, we know that they were given for our sakes, to teach us spiritual things (Gal 3:24, 2 Tim 3:16-17).
Leviticus 19:19
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
Deuteronomy 22:11
Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.
